biblical truths on fear
Do Not Worry
Matthew 10:17-20
May 8th
Don’t be naive. Some people will impugn your motives, others will smear your reputation—just because you believe in me. Don’t be upset when they haul you before the civil authorities. Without knowing it, they’ve done you—and me—a favor, given you a platform for preaching the kingdom news! And don’t worry about what you’ll say or how you’ll say it. The right words will be there; the Spirit of your Father will supply the words.
Matthew 10:17-20 (MSG)
Like sheep among the wolves we are sent by Christ, though we are free of worry because we place our reliance on God rather than our own abilities. When we speak for Him we trust in His Spirit of wisdom.
Matthew 09:22

Jesus turned. He saw the woman and said, “Don’t worry! You are now well because of your faith.” At that moment she was healed.
Matthew 9:22 (CEV)
When we approach Christ in faith and love, with a firm hope in the promise, Christ is able to comfort us through even our most private fears.
Matthew 09:02
May 6th
Some people soon brought to him a crippled man lying on a mat. When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the crippled man, “My friend, don’t worry! Your sins are forgiven.”
Matthew 9:2 (CEV)
Regardless of our difficulties we can be free from worry and criticism. We rejoice in Christ and the forgiveness of sin.
Matthew 06:34
May 4th
Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.
Matthew 6:34 (MSG)
It serves no purpose to be preoccupied with what might happen, so don’t worry about tomorrow; let God be God in your life today.
Matthew 06:31-33
May 3rd
Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ The people who don’t know God keep trying to get these things, and your Father in heaven knows you need them. Seek first God’s kingdom and what God wants. Then all your other needs will be met as well.
Matthew 6:31-33 (NCV)
Our Father knows our needs and is able to supply all, so trust in His wisdom and power to provide, and leave it to the unbeliever to be anxious about worldly things, for they do not know God.
Matthew 06:28-30
May 2nd
And why do you worry about clothes? Look at how the lilies in the field grow. They don’t work or make clothes for themselves. But I tell you that even Solomon with his riches was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today but tomorrow is thrown into the fire. So you can be even more sure that God will clothe you. Don’t have so little faith!
Matthew 6:28-30 (NCV)
Cast your cares on God, trust in Him who is able to provide all things, for things of this world fade and wither away.
Matthew 06:27
May 1st
And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life?
Matthew 6:27 (AMP)
God made us as He designed, do not be anxious about life, but be content and trust in Him to provide for your needs.
Matthew 06:25-26
Apr 30th
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
Matthew 6:25-26 (AMP)
God is able to provide for all our needs and guard against evil. If we choose to trust in Him instead of worrying about things of the world it is better for our souls.
