biblical truths on fear and worry

Do not be misled by those that would spread fear.

Fear the LORD your God and serve him. Hold fast to him and take your oaths in his name.

…fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul…

We are encouraged because God is with us. If God is with us, we have no reason to fear.

Do not be afraid or discouraged when things appear impossible, for we have God on our side. Be encouraged by recalling how God has always been on our side.

Have a worshipful heart for God that is honest, sincere and willing to follow Him, not just when we are convicted of our sins or faced with tough choices, but in all circumstances.

Worship God as you did when you first believed. Keep Him close to your heart each day so that your life will be a reflection of Him, and a living demonstration of worship for others to see.

Confidence comes through experience, let those with experience be an encouragement to those just setting out so they may grow strong and rely on the divine wisdom, power and goodness of God.

Be encouraged by previous victories over fear in order to build up your confidence to trust in Him the next time, for God is God.

When we recall previous blessings from God our strength and confidence are built up and we are able to step out in faith to overcome unfounded fear.
