Like sheep among the wolves we are sent by Christ, though we are free of worry because we place our reliance on God rather than our own abilities.
When we approach Christ in faith and love, with a firm hope in the promise, Christ is able to comfort us through even our most private fears.
It serves no purpose to be preoccupied with what might happen, so don’t worry about tomorrow; let God be God in your life today.
When we quiet ourselves before God we are most receptive to His calming Spirit, who is able to deliver us from our doubts and fears.
Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
Cast your fear and worry on to God and allow Him to calm the storm in your life.
Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven.”
Do not be afraid to speak the truth, or be put off by the words of those that would hinder you. In uncompromising service to God, speak and act boldly with assured protection from above.
Even the waves know the boundaries that God has established for them; therefore discipline yourself and exercise the fear of God He has instilled within you.
“Do not be afraid, my people! You know that from ancient times until now I have predicted all that would happen, and you are my witnesses.
