Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.
Do not allow fear to mislead or fool you with things that are not true. We have no cause to be afraid when we place our faith in God’s promises because they are true.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
What a comfort it is that Christ is nearby, that through His word and touch of grace He is able to remove the clouds of fear.
Drown out fear and doubt through strong faith in Christ, He is able to calm the winds of fear, so reach out to Him in purposeful prayer.
Worrying over things of the world is a distraction to the word of God. Put your confidence in Him rather than worldly treasures.
No matter what man’s opinion of us is, we are valuable in the sight of God, who can silence all fears.
…have a sincere faith in Christ and never be ashamed of your relationship with Him, for those who truly worship God need not fear any man.
So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
Like sheep among the wolves we are sent by Christ, though we are free of worry because we place our reliance on God rather than our own abilities.
